Old San Juan is beautiful! The forts near on the coast are beautiful and in good condition. There are lots of shops for handmade goods as well as clothes and souvenirs. There are multiple places for food and drinks. Very family friendly. The only issue is the parking. It’s terrible!! Unless you have a small car, are great at parallel parking and get there early you have to walk a distance to get to the center of the town.
